Do you know that the mention of Easter is nowhere in the Bible? Do you know when the first records of the church celebrating it came about?

Very interesting and in-depth commentary. Sad to say, you are incorrect about one small detail. The second most important marketing season in terms of dollars spent (at least where I worked at Home Dept) is Halloween. Yes, there are a lot of pagan traditions associated with our various Christian holidays, but I also see no reason to not celebrate Easter as Christ’s resurrection day. After all, I got saved on Easter at a church I was invited to as a very lost teen, and I am grateful that they celebrated it! In Portuguese we call it, Páscoa so that at least takes away the verbal link to So have a happy Easter and a Feliz Páscoa!
Thanks for the tip Pastor. It’s probably the resource I used, but yes, I can see where Halloween could definitely be the second. My wife and I went to WallyWorld the other day for groceries and I couldn’t believe the display of “Easter” toys!! I pray our Lord comes quickly. Keep praying for the Lost and God Bless!
