The place was unimportant, the people around me were unimportant, and the time was unimportant. What was important was that I moved from unbelief to belief! I believed Jesus was truly enough! I trusted or committed my soul to Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Have you? Will you trust and commit to Jesus?
The Personal Testimony of Tom Swartzwelder

I love this meditation! I struggle with the word belief in all its forms. Through almost 80 years of experience and meditation, l have come to understand that beliefs are temporal and man made, meaning they can change. To me, faith is that which is God created and cannot change as beliefs can. Although I attend an Episcopal church, I do not claim to be Episcopalian. Religions are another of man’s creations and tend to separate us. I call myself a man of faith because I do not want to exclude anyone from my love.
I believe you are correct when it comes to belief of the man made type. It is why there is so much divisiveness in, and within denominations. I believe that my being Baptist makes me no different than you as an Episcopalian. There are those who call themselves Christian in all churches. There are also true Christians in every church. What God did for us is call the true believer his true church and that allows me to call you my brother. Because of our faith we are His children!
