Everlasting Cronies

I am excited to introduce you to my debut novel, EVERLASTING CRONIES. I have collected not only my own stories but those of others since I was a child. I just love stories.Β  My new book is a compilation of many of these stories into one. I hope you enjoy it! Available now on Amazon and Kindle Direct.

Book 2 - Front-CoverPreview.do_edited-1

In EVERLASTING CRONIES you will enjoy a heart-warming, coming of age story about a trio of racially diverse boys who experience joy, loss, conflict, and redemption during the rural Louisiana summer of 1949. There is beauty, romance, and the racial animosity of the Deep South during that pivotal period. Ample local color, the ghost of the old mule jail, a snake dance, and a traditional Southern funeral, punctuate the drama that teaches the boys profitable life-lessons about faith, trust, loyalty and betrayal. This one unforgettable summer moves this threesome to the cusp of manhood and cements an enduring friendship.

    • Thank you so very much Constance. I do hope you enjoy it. Please me know what you think of it when you are finished reading it. Blessings to you and your family and a big congratulations on the the award you received.

  1. Oh by the way i nominated you. I know u are not all for awards , i believe I read that in the ” Family awards” but you are an interesting writing. I tried taking your advice about my one blog and wrote to a parenting magazine. Not sure if it went through but who knows. I always wanted to publish something either about my life and my struggles or something to do with helping others . maybe one day . im rambling , sorry

    • Ramble all you like dear friend. I am so happy you sent that article in. Sometimes it will take a while for them to respond. Just make sure you follow their guidelines and you should hear something back soon. They usually don’t pay until it is published but it should be a nice sum. I have a friend, John Floyd, who is a short story writer and he is published all the time in Woman’s World (this month in fact) and they pay $600. I am getting ready for a memoir writing class here in MS on the 31st for a literacy conference.Once that is over and I can relax lets get together and see if we can find a place that will publish your article, OK? You will have to nudge this old brain of mine though cause I am getting forgetful, lol. Thank you again, Constance, and I do hope you enjoy my book.
