Goodbye to Spring & Summer

Spring & summer have come and gone in 2013. I just want to thank the Lord for a beautiful flowering season. Below are some of the flowers I photographed this year. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Why not plan to teach your grandchildren about flower gardening this fall and next spring. Together you can sit on the porch, look with pride, and talk about how beautiful they are. This is one simple way to open conversation and build a lasting bond, one they will cherish in the future.

Even the squirrels enjoyed the bounty! Laughing Squirrel-2<

  1. What lovely flowers you had this year! One of my grandsons will be spending time with me next week and we will be working out in the yard. He’s a pretty good helper already at age 11. I’m glad you liked my post about robins. Blessings, Natalie

    • Thank you for your comment! I love flowers, they bring so much color to our world. Most only glance their way as they pass and miss the real beauty! Thanks!

      • I love flowers too and sadly you’re right, many do pass by with only a glance if that. And like the painter, Monet, I have to have flower and color in my world always. Have a great evening. Natalie 🙂

  2. Some of these same flowers used to grow on the property behind where I live, before they were cleared out. Always enjoyed looking at them and your photos reminded me of them. Good stuff.
